About My Practice
You may be exhausted in a way that doesn't match how much you're actually doing. Maybe anxiety has become the background noise of your day, or depression has quietly dimmed things that used to feel easy. If you're noticing anxiety creeping in, motivation fading, or a sense of burnout you can't quite name, you're not failing at adjusting—you're responding to something genuinely hard. Therapy, to me, is a place to catch your breath and figure out what's actually going on beneath the exhaustion.
I work with people navigating cultural dislocation, and the particular strain of straddling multiple worlds—geographically, culturally, or linguistically. I don't assume there's one "right" way to heal or one cultural lens that fits everyone; I meet you in the fullness of your specific context. My role is to walk alongside your expertise about your own life, not override it.
Multicultural Lens & Human Rights Advocacy: I have lived and worked across Bangladesh, the UK, and the US, and proudly offer sessions in English, Bengali, and Hindi. Alongside my clinical work, I am a research assistant focused on epistemic justice and human rights approaches to mental health, critically examining whose voices shape psychiatric care.
